its the 667th post.
maybe i didn't cont to blog because i didn't want to break the 666 post count.
haha...excuses =/

Well, exams are really around the corner and...
Everytime when exams are near, i'll have lots of thoughts about several things.

They are majorly thoughts about blaming on myself ...
why didn't i study faithfully prior to the exams.
And why wasn't i consistent enough throughout the semester thus,
resulting to me feeling the stress only when exams are less than a month away.
Too late i guess...=/
i'll only need to try to make use of the time i have left.

Also on the other hand, im thinking about ...
In another one plus month, i'll finally be getting over and done with student life.
ending a phase of life and moving into a new one.
i am thinking about what will i see myself in.

vague, but i do wish that i can finally pursue what i like to do.
things that are not finance related.
more of like...
being a wedding planner,
or a full time tuition teacher for a short period,
to opening a shop selling crafts,
or even maybe to find out more and to seriously consider about being in the education industry and means being a teacher,
and even to really work hard to fulfill a dream to be a waitress on air.

but all in all...
i might just fall in into a mayhem of every other ordinary human.
That is to accept the usual routine of life.
And in this case; finance students like us...
we will either end up working in a bank, become an accountant or somewhere close to that genre.
Maybe some are really passionate about being on the "right track".
However, maybe there will be some of us who might just be in it...following the "routine of how the water flows" for the sake of drawing a monthly salary.
and believe me...
the former will never happen on me.
and if the latter happens to me...
i'm just doing so for the money.

its really a bliss to be doing something for someone you love.
my first time spending his birthday with him.

woke up earlyyyy to have breakfast at al-almin.
one egg one plain for me .
and his prata w dobeeee coffee.
learning the way he likes to eat it...with sugar :)

while we were eating...
suddenly a school of harleys came by one after another.
shld be some harley davidson club outing or smgth.
those flashy bikes...beefy men and leather jackets.
its even more extravagant than a harley showroom!
a treat for the eyes :x

and then headed to watch him play bball.
boon peng came to play for the first time!
total coolness seeing bf and friend playing tgt on the same court :)

after the ball session.
went to the boy's hse.
had a chat with his mum and waited for him to get prepared for his family for his advanced bday dinner @ Vienna; United Square.
remembered being there one during Miron days being a treat from my boss as an intern there.
i remembered the super nice fresh oysters!
it didnt fail me that day though...its still nice :)

after the very very full dinner!
we went to walk ard hunting for shoes...
and i had some fun trying on some big squishy pink crocs.
totally fugly...and not comfy.
why they still keep improvising wan? =x

domino's pizza with the girls

that saturday.
was bored for the entire early part of the day.
and to the rescue were the 2 girls who came over to my plc in the evening.
yanni's cuzzie came along too.
the guy all da way from sec 1 days since. oh my.
its was kinda entertaining to look at him feeling v awkward at my plc all tgt.
not knowing where to sit nor stand even.
lol.

went over to chun tin rd to have Domino's Pizza!
one of the new stall that have sprung up along that street.
have always wanted to try Domino's when i was in KL but nv gotten the chance to.
and so glad that it came Spore to find me and located themselves sooo near to my plc.
how cool is tt :)

basically u place ur order.
and they have the LCD screen tt'll display your big fat name on it...
showing you that when is it ready for collection before you make urself to the counter again to collect the food that you've ordered.

and heres the food!
and how it was served.
disposable plastic cups and paper plates.
very "takeaway" feel xD

they'll even write ur name on the label!
now here...it says Ernest (yanni's cousin).

the hawaiian paradise.

and the Meatzza - smoked chicken breast, turkey Ham, chicken sausage, cabonossi, beef pepperoni and ground beef.
sounds super yummy and taste not bad too.

in my humble opinions.
the thin curst is abit too hard for my liking.
should try normal crust nxt time.
but the ingredients for the pizza is totally alot~
but the size of the pizza (9") is a tad too small though.
using the cut out coupons for buy 1 get 1 free pizza...
ended up paying only $27.80 shared between 4 of us.
so i aint complaining.
not to mentioned the cheerful atmosphere in that cosy restaurant.
with delivery boys going in and out but everytime hearing other staffs shouting "be safe!" "welcome back" is truely uplifting :)
will return.

headed off to town to watch movie thereafter!
specially chose to drive along orchard road to go marina.
wasnt a very wise choice but a blessing in disguise...
managed to soak in the christmas atmosphere for a long period of time.
orchard road's lightins.
still budget wan eh =/
i prefer the marina's lighting better though.

but paragon's xmas deco is really pretty this year.
magical world indeeed.

catch astro boy @ marina thereafter.
surprisingly...the graphics was quite good and storyline aint bad too.

that thursday.
went to teach tuition; with the bf waiting an hr and a half for me.
during that...he went over to amk hub to get the movie tickets.

managed to catch "my girlfriend is an secret agent"

first time catching a korean show but with english subs.
but its was a rather enjoyable and good funny action movie.

dinner at S11 at amk central thereafter :)
the western food that kelvin recommended.
which i think its not bad~
love the mushroom sauce, garlic bread and the crinkle fries tt came along with it.
a tad pricey though. =/
in my opinion, my hse's market Peter Pan's western grill is more value for money and not to mention yummy too!
nevertheless...my 2nd time eating it.
tried fish n chips before...and now chicken chop.

he had the pork chops.

It felt like the best thing in the world just happened to me. That night, bball at bukit batok was so heart wrenching having to separate from her. But I still smiled, and played on. Knowing that she was thinking of me as much as I was missing her.

Missing her hand in mine. Between the spaces of our fingers, interlocking, where... it fit perfectly.

Breadtalk! It'll always remind us now each time we go past one.. about the curry chicken there. And now I know your mum loves the garlic bread there.. and you love the hot dog bread, and chicken floss bread for me. :P the love for bread..

first time having lunch @ alexandra food village with my colleague whom im taking over as PA @ AIA.
found our this authentic depot claypot laksa~
priced reasonably at $3.50.
imagine me often having the overpriced $6.90 one at vivo city's food republic then.
now that i know this place...dun think i will ever eat at vivo's again!
for the thick curry laksa lovers :)
abit too spicy for me though...gotta totally trained up my immunity for spiciness!

and dinner.
met up with keong for dinner @ sushi tei over at holland village.
it has to be such a belated birthday meal.
so sorry abt it =/

just as what the card says...hope that everything you do will be well for you.

today marks a beginning of a milestone worth celebrating.
happy first month .
made for the bf a mini pictorial book on our 1st mth tgt.
and gotten us a everlast polo top with the happy colour of red and orange.
hope you like it dear :)

and the boy got me my iphone casing in red (my fav colour!)
remembered complaining abt my old casing beginning to show signs of wear and tear....
and you remembered :)
love the adorable box w the purple ribbon tt cames along with it.

and most importantly what you've written for me.
it does really felt like we've been together for ages
...but at the same time Redhill was just something that felt like yesterday.
more to be discovered,
more to be learnt,
more to be explored,
more to be experienced... with you :)

(03/11. Our first month together.. it really felt like we've been together for so long, it felt like.. you were somewhere out there, made for me, but we didn't cross paths till that very day at Redhill. There's so many things I want to do with you, to share with you, to allow you to be in my life, everything.. this 1st month have been an emotional roller coaster for the both of us.

the bf came over to my workplace aft my work.
and he got me a gift!
its a new keyboard and mouse.
good job on wrapping the gift urself...
using one whole piece of wrapper!
which i though its some amazing wrapping skills there...done in some BK restaurant right? :p

it feels like its my birthday...
getting a gift out from nowhere :)

now my computer is no longer dull black and uninteresting now.

(it was pretty embarrassing, to be sitting there stoning with the huge piece of wrapping paper and keep turning the box round and round trying to figure out how to wrap it in one piece. You must be wondering why I wan to keep it one piece..

.. I didn't have a scissors with me.

I'm glad you liked the gift dear.. It's not really me that complained about the keyboard, just that the keyboard likes to be part of the background "music" whenever we talked on the phone. =X you don't like to sleep early dear.. a softer keyboard would not disturb your family while they are happily in lalaland too! haha..

went to city plaza to get the boy's knee treated.
really hoped it will be healed soon =/

and ...
we headed tgt to 496 Jurong West to have dinner with petals.

sayhoon is totally occupied fully by the NIE's workload and stress.
had the curry fish head that i've not eaten for quite some time.
cravings totally satisfied :)
together along with the bbq grill squid and veggie kang kong.

although its a short meet up.
but still...love dinners like that tgt.
shall we do it more often, ladies?

i went to his sch for his faculty's NUS Arts Open!
The guys were there for the basketball 3v3 tournament.
and i extended my appearance to show my support :D

the rainy days...
and the lunch together.
thursday is becoming one of my favourite day of the week.

rainy days makes me feel - in love.

(Thursdays with you. How dobe is that! I remember the time we spent in the kitchen doing that wanton soup, though I didn't do anything much, but seeing her busy cooking and giving that blissful smile when she tasted the soup, makes me a happy man. :)

Your room. How slowly but surely, it has become a safe haven, a refuge for my sadness, stress, and everything nasty from the world.

Times like this, I wonder if time can really stop. and allow these wonderful moments to go on, and on.

a sunday with bliss

the sunday started off with the simple bliss.
breakfast at macdonalds :)
i always thought that to be able to have mac breakfast is a very blissful thing.
maybe cos i was brought up to envy kids being able to have mac with their parents but never had a chance to.
its a happy place and even more when you start off your day that way with someone special.
the camwhoring galore :x

and ... then to where he plays basketball.
being there watching what the person loves doing is also part of the bliss.
to be able to share everything and being part of it i guess :)

after ball.
something to look forward to is the lunch!
other than the good duck herbal soup...
finally gotten a chance to try the bah chor mee that the guys were raving about.

yummy :)
the guys are so regular that their portion can be like literally twice of what we have.
the auntie is totally bias :x

and after all that.
after showers.
he brought me to Changi Terminal 3!!
likkkkeee finallyyyyyyy im thereeeee.
i've never been there and was very gleeful about going!

the sky is mine to takeoff.

but still....airport has always held a special place in my heart.

took some shots that i thought was like some artist impression portrait; in my humble opinions.

in my opinions...
terminal 3 is more on the high modern tech side.
spacious. cold. has its landscape efforts.
hugely commercialized till it feels like a shopping center that has almost everything.
which makes terminal 1 looks super nostalgic, small and old.
didnt get to see the viewing gallery though cos it was under renovation :(
dun mind going there someday again~

had Popeyes for dinner!

i love love love popeyes~~
KFC shld be ashamed of themselves for having lousy slides and oily chicken :x
love popeyes' fries. the corn >3. the spices mashed potato.
the chicken sandwich is surprisingly good too !
total loves.
the foodcourt hoKKien mee is quite good too.
but at a whopping price of $4.50 per plate :x

the only downside about popeyes is...
they dun have ketchup wan.
u ask for ketchup...they'll give you STRAWBERRY JAM!
its weird but quite interesting to try new things.

and here's him totally being fascinated about the automated water cooler :p

unexpectedly out of nowhere...
i got a job!
one fine day (which was ytd)...laimeng msn me to ask if im looking for a job to be a personal assistant.
an interview was arranged today.
went for it.
and i am soooo hired!!
working as a PA for an eligible bachelor @ AIA~
totally a new experience.
looking forward to it :)

and boyfriend came over to meet me up.
pst...had to write about this which he might kill me for :x
the boy totally never eat IKEA hotdog ever before!
like omggg..
and also IKEA chicken wings!!!
oh...what are you missing out on dear :p

(... come on! it's not like I frequent IKEA very often! but we'll sure going to be there again soon, now that you're be there most of the time.. congrats on getting a new job and chasing those money woes away :P)

i brought my own homemade hotdog bread too.
the original vs the homemade.
in my humble opinions, i feel that both has its own unique taste :p
definitely overating the credits to my own homemade one :x

Mcgriddles with egg is really such total love.

spent the saturday in town.
had some reallyyyy bimbo moments but relatively, just let loose of yourself, be urself and u'll have many good memories in returns :)

(yx: before that! We met up in between Castle Green and yck mrt. She was right across the road, looking as beautiful as ever. She smiled at me, and even at that distance, the power of her smile did not diminish.. :) It was one of the longest wait for that green man to appear... till we finally joined hands. :)

Ooh! I'm still laughing at those moments ... unforgettable! =P)

caught 500 days of summer.

quite a refreshing style and plot.
but its a kind of show that u shld watch with ur loved ones...and definitely not alone =/

and...the bf bought me

a book...not just an ordinary book :)
he was searching for it the first time we were at Page One but cldnt find it.
soooo in some way or another...this book has been on his mind and came a long way.

(yx: we found this book in kino @ taka, took us quite awhile, but I'm glad it's now yours!)

adding his personal touch to it.

and that just made it more than just a book :)

today got all dressed up intending to go to a talent company for casting.
having nervous jitters for the whole of ytd night and morning.
ended up...due to a mis-communication, no casting was done.
wasted a cab trip down all the way to rivervalley close (sorry) :/

(yx: Nothing's a waste as long as I have you by my side! -cue everyone, awwwwww!- =P)

however i felt relief that i didnt have to go thru all the photo/video shoot though.
chasing all the jitters away, it was time for my stomach to feel hungry.
and went to fill it up with the pasta @ great world city (again)!
(after trying the pasta for the first time, i was really looking forward to eating it again!)

after lunch,
we went SIA building @ tanjong pagar for another interview with the talent company (supposingly).
but due to some commmitment reasons...ended up not going to the interview after waited for like 1.5hrs.
cancelled tuition thinking that the interview timings may crash.

wanted to cut hair (to bangs)...
BUT my hairdresser went on a 1 week course :/
So, silly me...sat on the chair but after some conviction questions asked by another hairdresser asking if im really sure to cut off my fringe despite it being almost there to be able to tuck behind the ears already...
i stood up and left.
-haha- fancy stepping into the salon, sat down, talked to the hairdresser, got some random hair spray on head, stood up and left w/o any hair cut.

(yx: I was there! The hairdresser kept glancing at me when she was deliberating over whether to cut her hair or not, giving me the "look", as if I was forcing her to cut her fringe. =/ I'm innocent!)

its been a long time since the last time i've eaten the chicken rice.
remember those poly days whereby we'll often patronize it.
good ol'sch days.

nevertheless...
no idea why the person gave us a 4 person portion of just chicken breast meat.
blah.
but its still as good as i remembered.
chicken rice can never go wrong. :)

so morale of the story: the whole day was just going around places and places. but nothing was achieved :D

in my humble opinions...i dun think this pizza is any special though.
but personally, im not really a fan of salami and plain pizza ...so :/

and i've learn that gorgonzola is actually a type of blue cheese...
if i've known prior to eating that... Gorgonzola is actually blue cheese i wld've given it a pass.
but (only to known it today) it turn out to be quite a yummy pizza.

the coffeeshop at botak jones had this new HK tze cha which my bro's friend recommended.

pork leg knuckles!
its super hugeeeeeeeeee i tell u. almost the size from my wrist to elbow.
but the herbal taste is love.
$20 for this. yummy!
even not a fan of meat..i wld still highly recommend it.
though most of it is because of the tasty soup which came along with it in the dish :x

sea cucumber with mixed vegetables.
$15.
except for its full big mushrooms,
but the amt of the sea cucumber is miserable.
not worth it.

its four season beans again!
but this is much yummier :)
crunchy and tasty.
is it due to being more tender and thus not so old?

fried seafood tofu with wu xiang.
not too bad.
but lack of the plum sauce for the wu xiang though =/

overall, it wasnt that bad.
but the waiting time was so long till....

woke up to iron a whole load pile of clothes today!
but all the hardwork paid off when we were at great world and i managed to chance upon this yummy pasta stall (just when im not over mourning abt modern grill @ bouna vista for closing down).

you really got to try it to believe it !
though a different kinda of taste from modern grill...but its still nice.

yummy spaghetti bolognese with italian sausage.
you may choose to have ur pasta spicy/non spicy.
i had mine less spicy and its already quite spicy...so its really up to your individual threshold level for chilli.
aniwea....fabulous pasta @ reasonable price of $6.90!
a must try! (alex! u gotta try this!)

an additional top up of 2 golden coins...
u'll be entitled to a mushroom soup and 2 slices of garlic bread.
in my humble opinion...you can do away with this.
the mushroom soup tasted a tad too thick and kinda tasteless.
and the garlic bread is too hard.

and...yixuan had this hotplate chicken and pork thingy from the jap stall (i think).
i only tried the chicken...and its not bad either!

the morning motivation wore out almost immediately when i had to
survive friday's 6 hrs lesson! it was realllyyyy a challenge.

we were all craving for sashimi.
and decided upon having our dinner @ Vivo City's Marusui Fish Market.
initally it was just a sushi and sashimi meal.
but the hospitality of the boss was great!
he treated us to salmon miso soup and cuttlefish :)
how very kind of him.

after dinner, we sat around by the vivo side which overlooked sentosa.
enjoying the breeze and enjoying each other's company.

if you'd ever imagined working side by side with ur best friend in a company.
im glad that i've gotten a chance to work FOR joceyln for though a short period - 4 days.
was just there to help her get thru her busy reports rushing week.
totally cool and the classic scene during the 4 days was...

her notes at her side table dropped.
and i was on my knees picking them up.
it totally looked as if she was an angry boss and im just a lowly employee who'd done something very wrong ...
and picking them up piece by piece.
hahaha.

the most unwarmth company i've ever worked in.
within those 4 days...nobody NOBODY ever asked me "are u new here? what have you been doing prior to this job?" etc.
none.
oh poor Joceyln....i totally feel for u.

still...thank you for the opportunity to be able to work with u :)
it was a delightful experience!
now say..."awwww" :p

over the national's public holiday.
spent it across the straits with him.

sorry for being sick on the first day.
totally wasted one day :(
in the end we ended up returning home.
the pain was so overwhelming =/

all the foood that i never want to miss out whenever im there.
ramly burger, keropok, sweet potato fritters
and this time round, gotten the chance to try his mum's cooking :)
homecooked bah ku teh.

before going up to Genting.
getting tyres pumped.
had KFC for lunch.
i always feel that msia's kfc is much yummier than spore's :)

happy birthday Singapore.
and also on our way back.
830am in the morning.

managed to get these at the bus station.
nostalgic moments recovered.
now with ah say for safe keeping :)

The following day...
it was my turn to bring that girl around :)
went to Maxwell market to eat the yummy fish soup.
Joceyln came along too.
and as usual...she went her ways to tell ppl everything im sorry for =/

this time she brought me to NUS to eat the special indo grilled that she was raving about !

tried the grilled chicken with fish set - $3.80!
really liked the gravy of the grilled chicken and the fish was really cripsy but a tad too dry to my liking .
Nevertheless...it was really comparable to the Indo grilled stall @ Plaza Sing :)
yummy good food stamped.

that day.
my brother brought my parents orchard to do some shopping.
i joined them for dinner.

had dinner at crystal jade kitchen @ taka B1.
the foood there is really niceeeeeee :O
check it out if u have the chance.

claypot tofu with chicken.
is piping hot and as a tofu lover...what more can i say.
totally adore this dish that remained pipping hot thruout the meal.
must try!

steam egg with prawns.
the prawns are very fresh.
the water egg is so soft and yummy.
another to die for.

gong bao ji ding with walnut.
this is a tad bit sweet though.
can give this a miss.

and veggie...
very young and tender veggie.
with salted and century egg.
best combi.
but this dish got ginger.
so not much to my liking =/

dinner with parents always need to drink TEA.
but its healthy and all.
so no complains.

my brother buying "honey" for his gf.
cos she's stress at work.
how sweet a bf can get.
my bro is totally an angel.

they came over to my place to bake brownie.
the yummy brownie that say baked for my 20th bday :)

melt brownie.
leave it to cool at room temperature.
cut walnut.
cut choco slaps.
whisk cocoa powder.

add egg.
add sugar.
add walnut.
mix together.
and its rdy to be baked!
brownie is really much simpler and easier as compared to cookies.

guys out there better appreciate it when ur gf bake cookies for u.
really super time consuming one =/
esp those with heart shapes or wadever shapes!

i bet there's a sudden rush for curious typical Singaporean to check out the newest ION.
i cant deny i wasnt one of them.
went over to ION with ah say :)

the exquisite architecture is really impressive.
reminds me of a shiny gem like structure.
with brilliant cuts interior.

walked around abit and we stumbled on

had a great time exploring some of the interesting finds in it.

that day we met up...
lydia, karen, joceyln, boon peng and i @ Cathay Nihon Sushi.
its supposed to a re-gathering for giving karen her present.
so...she did have her pressie.

and ta05..
she's very happy with our present.
so u can see xD

that day we were sitting infront of a bunch of quite gd looking Caucasians.

this is one scenario whereby LOOKS does matter.
the guy behind joceyln accidentally pushed her at her back.
joceyln made a pissed off angry face and turned around ...
but only to see the guy who "pushed" her is kinda cute.
so she went "ooooOOOo..." and smiled.
so...morale of the story: with good looks u can get away from trouble better.

even when he farts. (as joceyln claimed he did)
she didnt mind at all.
hahahaha.

and for the food of the day.
this is the only one i took picture on.
tofu. yay!

and boon peng is damn picky wan.
he doesnt eat fruits.
he doesnt eat veggie.
he doesnt eat beef.
he doesnt eat sushi.
like tt how can ?!
so this is what he ordered.
pork chop chicken.
he ended up only eating 3 mouths of it and say dowan liao.
spoilt! tsk....

went over to PS to shop at FACESHOP.
the worst things can happened when there's joceyln and bp.
even bottles tt "squirt" can come out from them when they tried some samples.
what can i say. SERIOUSLY. tsk.
so that marks the end of the gathering.

took a train and den shutter bus to head to marina barrage!
my first time going there.. and gawd the sun was sure at its best that day.
super hot!

was quite impressed by the architecture there.

and a lady came forward and ask him "how much is it?"
apparently...thought tt he is someone who sells kites.
we litterally all burst out laughing.
hahas.

and we met this dog named lucky.
she's adorable.
she is soo clean and her fur is soft
totally a good companion to her old granny master.

Ice age 3 and White Dog cafe!

that sat, the boy and i went to catch Ice Age 3: Dawn of the dinosaurs in 3D @ vivo city.
i lurve watching 3D.
it makes the show more interesting and fun watching.
duncha think so? :)

that show has its funny part.
esp the part which is my fav whereby they r flying to save Seet:
"Roger?! who is Roger? btw, can we save Seet first then we go for Roger?"
but roger was supposed to be "do u copy".
*laughs*

after the movie, we went to have lunch.
wanted to try something different that day and thus the white dog cafe.

we had the lunch menu specials.

the interior was nice.
spacious and not to mention the nice seaview that overlook sentosa island.

the ice water was served from a bottle that u'll have to pour yourself.
cool and refreshing. i like :)

love the high cushion seats by the side.
comfy comfy :)

we had tea.
mine with equal sugar.
his with milk and raw sugar.

cream of chicken soup.
it was really creamy >.<

and i had the vongole pasta in tomato sauce.
but why can't i find much vongole inside?
kinda disappointing.
almost like plain tom sauce pasta.
v normal & nothing to shout about :(

while he had the steak w mashed potato.
the serving is miserably small.
he commented that its almost like kid's size :/
i cldnt agree more.

dun think i will come back again.
not at least for the lunch special.
not tasty.
not value for money =/

we had to go around buying snacks to eat soonafter.
a blessing in disguise though. had fun snacking ard :p

JB trip with yanni and her bf's friends.
caution: *picture intensive*
its been way too long since i've last been to JB.
So much had changed! esp. the customs.
its so much more spacious, cooling and prettier now.
that's JB 1, Singapore 0.

went city square's Neway to sing!
totally think their karaoke is way better den Spore's.
larger place, cleaner, wider tv screen, WAY better food.
that's JB 2, Singapore 0.
check it out, they even have fabric microphone cap for hygenic purpose.
so cool.

check out the K lunch food they provide.
total wow or what.
the girls had the claypot tofu set.
and the guys had chicken chop/steak/udon
yummy.

totally worth it!

they keep dogs over there.

they are adorable. esp heart the golden retriever.
he goes crazy for metal drinking cans.
throw him one and he'll go running for it.
a good boy.

it was a fun one.
and that is the boss of the Karting place.

and that is our taxi uncle.
they are very patient whom waited for us driving us there and waited.
of cos for some money xD
but still..they're quite sporting.
taking pictures, cheering us on, encouraging us to go for another round etc.
i just feel malaysians are more genuine and warm.

we ordered quite a spread.
first off is thai style chicken.
was it thai style? cant rem...hehe.

but this is yummlicious!

hk style veggie.
it may look harmless but its fiery spicy!

cereal prawns.
very fresh crunchy prawns there. i like!

behold my fav chilli crab!
very big and nice.

and where there's chilli crab.
there's fried mantou!
dippy into the chilli gravy.
total loves.

save the best for the last.
salted egg crayfish!
its everyone's favourite dish im sure.
first time hearing crayfish cooked w salted egg.
interesting but u bet it was surely yummy!
the taste of the salted egg nicely blended into the flesh of the crayfish with its fresh sea taste. lovely.

good food.
but its tad expensive.
amounted up to sgd$30 per person.
but as what jian pung said "not bad. paid $30 and ate like a king."
cant agree more than that :)

when we finished our meal.
the skies were already turning dark.

so the boys and girls went seperate ways shopping.
that's where i saw domukun!
hug it and its hands will totally fall at the right place to feel its hugging you back! trust me!
but it cost rm59.90 which i thought it was expensive and thus didnt buy it :(

didnt buy anything that day.
cos...JB stuffs isnt really any near suitable for us.

met up with the guys again @ secret recipe to have our desserts!
mad full but we just cant miss this...GOOD desserts at same price but HALF the currency.

the usual cake i wld order from secret recipe.

it was time for us to go thru the custom back home.

we all had this 2 pc chicken set.
that day..the biscuit bread thing was out of stock!
as well as mashed potato.
then why open the stall, right?!
i was disappointed cos i wanted to remind myself and re-confirm that the biscuit bread thing is hard like stone. but it wasnt there to show itself to me. oh wells!
oh! BUT thanks to the out-of-stock though...i found out tt the SWEET CORN is actually VERY sweet (duh...) and nice :)

7 of us...chalked up almost $300+ bill!
they order food like its FREEEEE.
and ended up having to waste some of them...cos we were all so full to the brim!

and yet again...
made some new friends.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YILEE ♥ !
on 17th Aug (her actual day)
After work ... the petals celebrated the lovely's bday at Clarke Quay!

wanted to eat jumbo seafood...but the Q was mad!
imagine we were there at 7:10pm and the nxt table is only available at 9:30pm!
6 starved women we were...so we decided to try the Chinese Restaurant upstairs that LOOKED alluring from the looks of the MENU with a pushy usher that promised to give us good seats!

true enough we had the BEST seat...
just because the whole restaurant is almost empty.
mad 360 difference from the mad jumbo restaurant downstairs.
BUT people...pls avoid this restaurant at ALL cost.
for food....i truely believe...its empty for a reason.
and there's Q for a reason too.
good is good.
not so good will never be that good.
hehe.

but its the company that matters still :)
but i HAVE to mention this (top right hand corner picture above)
the funny cameraman (restaurant staff) who took the photo for us was mad hilarious.
he DON'T KNOW how to take a picture.
he went "1....2....*snap and move the camera down at the same time*"

in the end...only our LEGS were captured.
totally "?".
LOL.

the foood.
at least its edible except for the complimentary chang shou noodles that they gave us for free.

generally the food there has the extreme taste.
either too strong taste or too sweet or too salty.
duno why the tofu wasnt captured! i only like the tofu there.
and the mantou is like 3 MINI ones for $3!!
but okay la...the black pepper crab which is also not captured! was not bad.

oh well.
not to mention the service -.-
one thing for sure...we wun be returning ever again for the rest of our lives i reckon.

the rice is tomato flavoured.
i like!

on 8th of july: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOH PEI SHAN!
the busy girl just officially started work as an prudential gal.
happie for her.
8th of july is a day to mark many years down the road.
cos her license was granted on that day too~
she'll make it big...very sure she will :)
jiayou lo.

...we celebrated for her on twelve; a sun :)
went to CSC 2-7pm package~
the usual ROOM 4 with the S.H.E. poster is so OUR official VIP room.
the uncle went "that room is more suitable for girls mah!"
lol.

we sing.we sang.we sung.
5 hrs of singing sure satisfied us.

dearest say baked the birthday gal and each of us a cuppycake!
spot mine without the cheese..hahas.

it was time to fill our stomach.

yilee's intro-ed us to chu tin road for gd' korean food~
totally just one main road+one blk of building down my place.
and i didnt know of that place..shame on me. glah.

a family business by authentic Koreans whom cant speak English very well.
but a bit here and there about the menu and food is okay.

the food is mad loves.
we order quite a huge spread.
the greedy us. lol.

a whopping 10 plates of side dishes!!
i've been to korean restaurants w side dishes but not as scrumptious as this.

the rice served in korean bowls and cutleries.
my mum is totally using the korean chopsticks ever since she went korean and back.
good meh?
for me i find it too heavy and its too good a conductor of heat!
dip into soup and it will burn u!

and the miso paste steamboat with seafood.

and as if tt's not enuff...
we ordered another kimchi based seafood steamboat!

initially there's another set of chicken teppanyaki but luckily it was miss out and we cancelled it.

it was too pretty and alluring to be missed.
we had to have a place to blow candles for the bday girl too.

and...MAO Shan Wang Durian flavoured ice cream! So gonna try it the nxt time rd ~

and udders have have board for doodling too.

check out the lychee martini ice cream that we had.
one cup of ice cream $3.90 but lots of camwhoring and fun there.
total worthwhile.

he brought me to try the newly opened Barcelos at Holland Village :)
vivo has one outlet too...
but this outlet looked more interesting to visit!

the interior.
it was empty then...
on a lazy saturday afternoon.
we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. hehe.

we had of cos the flame grilled chicken.
its grilled to perfection :)
the fries can be improved though!
size of the chicken can be bigger...considering its like $12.95.
nevertheless...i am all in praise for the food there !

i had the chicken burger.
its yummlicious.
juicy, fresh and tender!

this is my colleague's debbie table!
its the first time i ever have a hungry and such a daring colleague like her.
displaying her snacks on her table like that. lol.
Her intray is always filled with snacks.
and this is already a more PACKED and organized picture of her snacks !
oh my....

and i've joined GYM with Angelia together with Joceyln.
they are gonna be my motivators for keeping fit :)

my first time working out.
the picture is taken in the changing room~
its amazing...the gym has everything!
hair dryer, shampoo, bath gel, moisturizing cream, cotton pad, cotton buds.
the best part of the whole gym session is all abt showering.
lol.

and a real exciting day to mark.
i've gotten a 3GS~!!
thanks to joceyln's bf who is working at Singtel to gain me privileges.
the Q was madness...

went causeway point soup restaurant with my family.
an advance daddy's bday celebration.

think restaurant are very bad these days.
they provide this appetizer whereby they voluntarily bring up to you...
you assumed its complimentary.
but at the end of the day without knowing...
u've been charge for $2 + GST.
unknowingly with towels+ nuts-that-you-didnt-order+ service charge+GST...
u'll end up paying additional $10 more on ur total bill.
incorrigible...tsk.

its a happy day...

being all excited.

but the excitement was drowned a little...
when we were stuck among the CROWD just queuing to cross the road.

but all was good after u've seated down.
the atmosphere was high.

that morning @ ard 7:45am joceyln called and say..."hey im very tired+flu+cough+~~lazy~~ and dun feel like going work".
....leaving us on the phone for the next half hour thinking of how to tell our bosses that we're going to absent ourselves from work. xD

i went sembawang shopping centre for the first time !
my first impression from the outside road..."very malaysia..."
SSC is actually quite cool.
when will capitaland mall come to bukit timah plaza and revamp it?!?!

had ajisen for lunch.
on a monday afternoon...
the whole restaurant was absolutely empty and quiet throughout.
it seemed like we booked the restaurant to just the both of us.
awwww.

i keep snapping pictures...like a native tourist.
and gotten joceyln pissed.
i think she's sarking air in and saying "stoooop taking pictures larrrh!"

but im glad we did.
gotten the chance to try cheap and good western food!

and while waiting for the food...
joce hurt the president.
he see the president not happy and so decide to dig his eyes out.
she must be feeling too rich! lol.

it was actually a failed trick that involved tearing the note a little...
but she literally tear the whole note.

he had grilled pork chops with fries & bbq beans.

and i tried their beef bolognese pasta.
still not comparable to modern grill's pasta...but sadly they've moved to i duno where :(

there was this one fine day...
after work.
joceyln was having mad cravings for sashimi.

Thus we went to takashimaya and bought the whole freaking slab of sashimi to let her eat her fill.

she simply cant take her eyes off the salmon sashimi.

not till she took a few slices of her fill...
then she looked up to post for this picture.
she is a happy girl now.

spotted this citibank advertisment...
and it was claimed that it looked like me.

as a deal.
me going to takashimaya with her for the salmon sashimi.
she had to go ikea with me to get my photo frame.
and we managed to convinced karen to come down!

and i remembered putting you aside in a temp. box when jinjin is pregnant...
you made a hole in the box and went missing.
i searched high and low for you for hours but was in vain.
i was crying...holding that torch searching every corner for you.
...you were actually sleeping soundly in between boxes in my bro's room.

you were always there embracing jinjin and showed me a different type of affection.

but when jinjin was gone...
you fell sick and had an antenna on ur head.
the doctor said you had a tumor.
was it painful? :(

Im sorry you have to go through pain losing someone you loved.
going through pains of illness.
i wish i've given you better.

a day out @ sentosa...

his parents came over to Spore for the first time after almost 3 yrs he'd been here in sg.
went over to kranji to pick them up and heeded to vivo city to let them have a taste of some local delights like laksa, hokkien mee, beef brisket noodles, you tiao w soya bean milk.

and heeded off to Sentosa :)
weee.
he bought the package which we had to choose a total of 4 attractions we wanted to do.

Firstly...
Images of Singapore.

His parents are totally cool and enthu in taking pictures.
esp his mum...totally like us ...snapping photos of food and almost everything.
so cute.

Next is the Tiger Sky Tower...

he really look like a duplicate version of his dad.
just a younger one :p
dun you think so?

The third attraction that we went was the 4D max experience.

a totally new experience that was unforgetable.
not only satisfying the audio, visual, in 3D effects but also motion effect!
when there's wind u'll feel the wind.
when there's water there'll be water literally spraying onto you (coming out from the seas)
kinda entertaining and certainly fun.

Last but not least we went for the Segway Eco Ride.
It was hard to get going cos you'll tend to slide backwards...
but even before ive gotten the hang of it...his parents were already all set and were way ahead.
so cool.

but basically after getting the hang of it...
its kinda fun. its just using ur body weight to control it to move forward or backward and try to manuever through the twist and turn on the little obstacle course that was there.

took sky train back to vivo and brought his parents back to their hotel for a rest.
after refreshining up...
darling brought us to Tung Lok @ East Coast Park to have seafood buffet for dinner!
have always wanted to be there but to have this buffet...you need a min of 4 pax :/

had a spread of good food.

california maki.
salmon sashimi.
fresh oysters. (very very fresh!)
live prawns.
chilli crab. (my fav!)

mantou.
shark fins soup.
black pepper beef.
four season beans.

fried calamari.
fried crispy pomfret.
another serving of salmon sashimi.
thai style tofu.

scallops with assorted vegetables in sambal.
and for desserts...mago sago.
red bean glutinous rice with ice cream.

....was really super full.
the most satisfying meal ever.

i had a great time.

First 3D experience

caught monsters vs alien in 3D @ vivo city.
he's trying to act cool here but er :p
its my first time watching 3D and its really awesome.

except that the specs kept sliding down alittle throughout.
Its was really pretty with those animations in 3D effects.
the story line is pretty sweet and the characters are cute to bits.
i lurrrve b.o.b the most :)

had dinner at the chu chao along bukit timah road near brewerks.
always see it being v crowded and decided to give it a try.
my phone ran out of battery before the food came.
so no pictures. blah.

we actually attended the Nostalgia Night at NP - Blk 73‏ that was held.
despite the programme for the day was ...

i was quite disappointed when i came to know that the whole event was held at canteen 1.
but oh wells.

the best part of the whole event perhaps was the buffet.
not that i'm complaining that the food isnt nice either :x
there's red wine that was served complimentary too...but its completely un-drinkable.
